australian gp. preview. In Jordan Honda’s
preview to the Australian GP, Jarno Trulli comments:
“We are really looking forward to the early
races. Being in
the car
in hot conditions for the duration of the
race will certainly be testing after the winter break. We have seen that our car
looks competitive, and I feel ready and am looking forward to the season ahead. I have not set myself any goals for this year though as I have done so in the past and it doesn't always work out, so this year there are no targets in my mind, just the aim to get out there and race.
Chassis details for the race:

honda press conference. Members of the Jordan team including Eddie Jordan and drivers Jarno Trulli and Heinz –Harald Frentzen
stopped off in Tokyo today for Honda’s pre-season press conference. BAR drivers
were also in attendance.
Jarno Trulli: I already have a lot of Japanese fans but
obviously this year with Honda probably I will have a lot more. I just want to
say that they need to keep close with us because this year we're going to have
a very tough season, but hopefully we're going to celebrate together, fight to
win races, fight to score points, and fight to have an exciting season.

silverstone testing. Following yesterday’s
late start due to fog and HHF’s lone testing of chassis 04, setting the fastest time of 1:24.08 in the afternoon, today HHF was joined by Jarno, testing chassis 02
and 03. The main focus of today’s programme was full race team pit stop
practice, refuelling on all 3 cars, and systems checking. The two Jordan
drivers were fastest on the day, HHF achieving 1:23.89 and Jarno
1:24.65, ahead of the two Arrows drivers
and Button in
a very slow Benetton. The cars leave Thursday afternoon for Melbourne and the
Jordan team will finalise chassis preparations tomorrow morning at Silverstone.

Jarno completed 61 laps and was fourth fastest with 1:31.90, just ahead of team mate Frentzen who managed 1:32.06 after 47 laps. DC was quickest again with 1:29.32.
